2025 ASPHP National SPHM Conference: Poster Abstract Submission

We invite you to showcase your research through a poster presentation at the 2025 ASPHP National SPHM Conference. Submit your abstract by October 17, 2024, to be considered.

How to Create a Research Poster
This is a unique opportunity to showcase your research aligned with safe patient handling and mobility (SPHM) in front of a diverse audience of healthcare professionals. We encourage topics that support SPHM initiatives directly or indirectly.
Submission Process:
All submitted abstracts will undergo a thorough peer-review process. Accepted abstracts will be featured prominently in our conference materials. Notification of acceptance will be sent to lead authors via email.
Registration Requirement:
To ensure your participation in the event, at least one author must complete their registration by February 1, 2025. Abstracts will be included in the event handouts only if registration fees have been paid by this deadline.
Poster Presentation Details:
Poster boards provided will measure 8 feet in width and 4 feet in height, providing ample space to present your research effectively.
Selection Criteria:
Please note that the Poster Abstract Committee will assess submissions to ensure alignment with the event’s objectives and sufficient scientific or technological merit. Abstracts with promotional content or advertisements for specific companies or products will not be accepted.
Engage and Network:
We encourage poster presenters to engage with colleagues in a relaxed and interactive setting, sharing their valuable research and projects with fellow professionals.

A. Best Overall Award: Excellence in research poster design and presentation
B. Innovation Award: New approaches to SPHM practices
C. Inclusive Voices Award: Incorporation of diverse roles and disciplines
D. Gallagher Award/Top Novice Award: For early-career researchers
E. Excellence in Research Design Award: Best use of research methods
F. Exemplary QI Project Award: Quality improvement initiatives
The Posters will be rated by the 2025 National Conference Committee, and the Award Ceremony will be held during the National Conference.
