ASPHP SPHM Awards
At its annual National SPHM Education Event, Association of Safe Patient Handling Professionals will award five safe patient-handling and mobility awards, one each in the categories below. Nominations will be blind reviewed by a panel of ASPHP member/judges. All judges have signed non-disclosure agreements. Winners will be notified in February prior to the event.

SPHM Advocacy Award: The purpose of this award is to recognize an individual who has demonstrated efforts and/or results to promote universal safe patient handling and mobility (SPHM). Someone who has made a meaningful impact in a short time through dedicated service and results, or one who has striven diligently for years to make a difference.

SPHM Executive Award: The recognition an individual who has demonstrated executive-focused efforts or results to promote SPHM within their facility or system. Someone who has made a meaningful impact through dedicated service and leadership and achieved measurably improved outcomes.
