Overview
Participants will understand design principles to create visually compelling scientific posters, be able to organize
information effectively with a clear and logical flow, knowledge of best practices for printing and presenting
posters at conferences, and be able to critically evaluate and provide constructive feedback on scientific posters
(both their own and others).
Objectives – After this session, participants will be able to:
- The 4 C’s of Abstract Writing – Complete, Concise, Clear, Cohesive
- Introduction to the principles of effective scientific communication through visual posters
- Review of the key elements of designing both visually appealing and informative postersFourth objective
Meet the Speaker(s)
Michelle DaGloria, RN
Michelle is a Registered Nurse, passionate about patient safety and optimizing clinical care across all care settings. Her unique nursing background includes direct patient care and progressive leadership roles and experiences not only from acute care but also community settings, and now to industry where she has the opportunity to translate prior experiences into providing well rounded patient and clinician centric recommendations for meeting organizational goals. One of her passions is identifying clinical needs and gaps related to the safe use of products and formulating out of the box ways to support clinicians in delivering safe patient care.
