You have been notified by your SPHM organization that they have entered into a partnership with the Association of Safe Patient Handling Professionals (ASPHP). You can now become involved with the ASPHP and access its Certification Program. We are pleased that you are interested in strengthening your SPHM profession by documenting your expertise in the field and becoming certified.
When you remit your fees for the certification process below, you also become a member of the ASPHP which will provide discounts to our educational offerings. You will also receive a user name and password to access the Members Only section of our site.
You will need to visit the main page of the Certification Tab to learn everything you need to know regarding submitting an application for the CSPHA (Certified Safe Patient Handling Associate) or the CSPHP (Certified Safe Patient Handling Professional) certification.
NOTE, however, that you do not need to take the Exam that is required of the U.S. CSPHP applicants at this time. Your CSPHP and CSPHA awards are based entirely on the portfolio information you submit in your application. Your application must include a formal letter from your SPHM organization that indicates you are currently a member.
After thoroughly completing the application, review the check-list to assure that you have included every requirement. Please submit the entire application, including the completed form, by emailing to email@example.com – be sure that these files are NOT encrypted as we will be unable to open them. Write a check or provide credit card information for the required fees to ASPHP. You can mail the check to: ASPHP Certification Program, 125 Warrendale Bayne Road, Suite 375, Warrendale, PA 15086. Incomplete applications will not be accepted, but will be returned for requisite information. Fees are not refundable.
Thank you for your interest in strengthening your SPHM profession by becoming certified. Remember, there is strength in numbers. You can begin your application process by remitting required fees below. Application fees are non-refundable.
